Privacy policy
What we collect when you enquire, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Before publishing: this page is a plain-English starting point, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by an Australian legal adviser and confirm it reflects how FRN Motorsports actually operates.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry, appraisal or finance form we collect the details you give us — typically your name, phone number, email address, location and information about the vehicle you're buying, selling or financing. Our website may also collect standard technical information such as browser type and pages visited.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you asked about
- To appraise, source, sell or arrange finance for a vehicle
- To meet our record-keeping obligations under Australian law
Who we share it with
Where you ask us to arrange finance, we share the information you provide with accredited finance brokers and lenders so they can assess your enquiry. Where a sale requires it, we share information with transport providers, insurers or state road authorities. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for unrelated marketing purposes.
How we store it
Your information is held in our business systems with access limited to people who need it to do their job. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Accessing or correcting your information
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Sales@frnmotorsports.com.au and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use cookies and analytics tools to understand how visitors use it. You can disable cookies in your browser; some parts of the site may not work as expected if you do.
Complaints
If you believe we've mishandled your personal information, contact us at Sales@frnmotorsports.com.au. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
